I Was Raised

in a challenging environment of various -aholics where not showing up was a way to stay safe. While this strategy may have served me as a child, it was less wise when trying to connect and build relationship as an adult.

My own work and double coaching certifications with Katherine Woodward Thomas as a Calling in “The One” and a Conscious Uncoupling Coach revealed to me that it was about how I was showing up to life, fearful, overly independent, angry, not allowing others to see the real me, protected, that kept me from a deep connection to myself and so, to others.

My Brand

The Elephant

My mother’s spirit animal was the elephant. We were surrounded by elephants growing up. For her, elephants were symbols of strength, stability, abundance and love. I was excited when I came across Lord Ganesha’s added meaning of success and prosperity. The Lord Ganesha holds our hand over the threshold to a deeper understanding to our lives and our choices. This is why I chose the elephant as part of my logo, just in front of the hearts. The elephant stands at the threshold to our own love and healing.

The Hearts

The hearts? This image is to indicate my intention to bring back our heart to ourselves. Disney’s Moana provides a great model, bringing back the heart to TeFiti allows the Goddess to blossom and grow into her Authentic Eminence. We are all that.

Prayers to the Lord Ganesha, are about removing the barriers, the blocks to our awareness of love, life, success, as a possibility for our lives. This is my commitment to myself, my commitment to my clients.

My Driving Metaphors

Urban Doors

I have been fascinated since my 20s, when I submitted a photographic essay on doors throughout Manhattan. I love the variety, the colors, the styles, the shapes. Are they welcoming? what do they communicate to the viewer. But moreover, I also love doors for what they represent. In coaching, Doors are the quintessential beginning of the process. Doors are thresholds. My work with you is very like approaching key doors in our lives. When someone works with me, we are going through a door. We are stepping over thresholds when you ask the question, is there anything else? The threshold is the space between where you are where you want to be. Stepping across the threshold represents a key decision, itself a pivotal moment in your transformation. What are are you willing to leave behind? What are you willing to stand for? Let’s walk through the doors together.

Lord Ganesha is rich in symbolism and is used as a spiritual guide. Each symbol associated with the elephant-headed Hindu god is viewed as a reminder to manifest the powers held within us.

Elephant Head: Think big and act wisely.

Large Ears: Be open to learning.

Small Eyes: Look beyond the obvious.

Large Stomach: Digest both good and bad.

Small Mouth: Talk less.

Trunk: Stay adaptable.

Axe: Cut off all bonds of attachment.

Blessings: Bless and protect.

Rope: Move toward higher goals.
